XM Satellite Radio [XMSR] signed a deal that calls for Antex Electronics to develop and to market high-end satellite radio products. The first product developed under the agreement is the XM-3000 multi-zone satellite receiver, which will be ready for market later this year. This product enables listeners to obtain as many as three different XM channels and to distribute them to different rooms, or zones, simultaneously. The suggested retail price of the receiver was not disclosed, nor were any financial details on the agreement between XM and Antex.
