SBC Adds New ‘Dish’ To The Menu

SBC Communications [SBC] and EchoStar Communications [DISH] launched a combined SBC/DISH Network satellite TV service across the SBC service area that spans 13 states and 55 million telephone lines. The network’s rollout makes SBC the first major U.S. telecommunications provider to offer TV, wireless, broadband and local/long distance service on one monthly bill. The SBC/DISH Network satellite TV service has a baseline starting price of $29.99, includes local channels.
