Convergys Signs Billing Contract with Indonesia’s Satelindo

Convergys [NYSE: CVG], a Cincinnati, Ohio-based supplier of integrated billing, employee care, and customer care services, has agreed to license its Infinys billing system to PT Satelit Palapa Indonesia (Satelindo), an Indonesian satellite and cellular phone operator. Satelindo will use the Infinys application for rating and billing for order management to support its postpaid services and introduce 2.5G mobile services.
Convergys will migrate Satelindo’s postpaid customer accounts to Infinys and integrate the solution with existing Satelindo systems. Satelindo is a wholly owned subsidiary of PT Indonesian Satellite Corp. [NYSE: IIT].
