The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)has awarded a contract to the Antenna Systems Division of Integral Systems [Nasdaq: ISYS] to supply DASS (Distress Alerting Satellite System) antennas. An Integral spokesman declined to disclose the value of the contract. The award includes delivery of four 4.27-meter full motion tracking antennas for receiving rescue signals that are relayed through GPS and low earth orbiting weather satellites. The DASS antennas are fully automated and will be located on the roof of the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.
