Dutch maritime navigation company De Boer Marine is using SES Networks’ connectivity and the Skala Global Platform to provide its clients with managed data services, the two companies announced on Wednesday. 

SES said that De Boer Marine and fleet operators now have flexible bandwidth management, advanced automatic beam switching, and a network management system designed for profitability and efficiency. The Skala Global Platform combines ground system technology, satellite capabilities, and service lifecycle expertise into managed data services for commercial shipping companies.
