Teledyne Paradise Datacom Unveils 500W Outdoor GaN SSPA

[Via Satellite 08-30-2016] Teledyne Paradise Datacom, a business unit of Teledyne Microwave Solutions, has released a new 500W Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) as part of its line of compact outdoor Gallium Nitride (GaN) SSPAs. The product measures 10 inches by 19.5 inches by 6.5 inches, and operates in L and S bands.
Teledyne Paradise Datacom’s full line of Paradise Compact Outdoor SSPAs is built to deliver high reliability while withstanding extreme environmental conditions. Customers can deploy the SSPAs in outdoor scenarios that have traditionally been reserved for older Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier (TWTA) technology, according to the company.
