DigitalGlobe Selects Raytheon’s Constellation Scheduling System for WorldView 4

      [Via Satellite 21-11-2015] DigitalGlobe has selected Raytheon to support the September 2016 launch and mission planning of its next satellite: WorldView 4.

      Raytheon’s Constellation Scheduling System (CSS) runs routine planning and scheduling automatically, in order to enable more efficient schedules.

      WorldView 4 is the fifth DigitalGlobe satellite to have planning and scheduling support from Raytheon. The new competitively awarded contract to prepare the ground station for WorldView 4 is part of the first phase in the development of DigitalGlobe’s “Platform 20/20” next generation ground system. Raytheon space launch range services is also supporting the September 2016 Atlas 5 launch of WorldView 4, from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
