Globecomm Chooses Matrices from ETL Systems

[Via Satellite 03-13-2014] Globecomm has selected Vulcan, Victor and other additional matrices from ETL Systems to provide RF signal distribution systems. The ETL Vulcan matrix provides 128 by 128-routing capacity in 16U rack space. It can be part populated in blocks of eight inputs or eight outputs. The ETL Vulcan matrix uses hot-swappable input, output, and mid matrix RF modules to provide extra resilience, and the ability to expend the matrix (hot) in service by adding input and output cards, as the entire mid matrix cards are supplied in part populated matrices.
