Singapore-based SpaceChain has announced that its SPC token is now tradable on Bittrex, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the United States. SpaceChain is a community-based space platform that combines space and blockchain technologies to build the world’s first open-source blockchain-based satellite network, helping allow users to develop and run decentralized applications in space.

SpaceChain’s SPC utility token serves as a method of payment for access to applications built and utilized on its platform in space. Hence, its token is used within the SpaceChain ecosystem in the same way that payments are transferred digitally online.

The listing on Bittrex aims to simplify the communities’ access to SpaceChain’s products and services, while enabling SPC utility tokens to be made more widely available to SpaceChain’s global community, especially the U.S. market. “Bittrex is one of the most reputable blockchain trading platforms in the world. We are proud to work with them and excited to join their community. Getting listed on Bittrex is also a great opportunity for us to connect with more users and developers worldwide,” said SpaceChain Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder Zee Zheng.
