      • SCS Corp. signed Infoterra, a European-based geospatial information company, to provide a complete satellite-image-based Global Seeps Study over its entire 16 million concession. The process will produce digital data providing scene interpolation, source points for seeps, probable seep types, digital geo-coded data and images of the concession-seep formulations. Financial terms were not disclosed.
      • DigitalGlobe forged a partnership with Bird’s Eye Images under which Bird’s Eye will market and sell high-quality art prints of satellite imagery collected by the QuickBird imaging satellite. Financial terms were not disclosed.
      • Hughes Network Systems Inc. today said it won two new contracts worth more than $4 million combined from Gtech Corp. [GTK] to deliver and install two new Direcway hubs as well as 78 months of satellite bandwidth and engineering support.
