Tachyon Appoints New VP/Distribution Channels

Tachyon Network, a Vienna, Va.-based provider of high-speed, broadband satellite communications for commercial enterprises, appointed Yaniv Oz to the newly created position of vice president of distribution channels. Oz joins the company from Gilat Satellite Networks’ Spacenet, where he served as director of channel partner programs, and he brings more than 11 years of engineering, military and sales experience to the table.

Oz primarily will be responsible for the strategic marketing of Tachyon Express, a satellite communications system designed to meet the requirement of small and medium enterprises.
