Satcom Global Grows Maritime Product Portfolio with AND Group

[Via Satellite 02-10-2016] Satcom Global has added safety and security products for the marine and offshore market, along with a range of enhanced engineering services to its portfolio, following a full rebrand of sister company AND Group. Now under the Satcom Global brand, AND Group brings its exclusive supply relationships with marine equipment manufacturers including Bosch Security, Autronica Fire and Security, FHF, Cobham Satcom and Furuno.

Going forward, Satcom Global will offer equipment for fire and gas detection, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) for safe and hazardous areas, as well as Public Address/General Alarm (PAGA) systems from brands such as Zenitel and Industronic. Satcom Global’s communications portfolio also receives a boost with new lines such as robust fixed telephones for explosive atmospheres, more traditional radio products, navigation equipment including sonars and radars and entertainment systems such as Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT)-based satellite TV. The company can also offer bespoke anti-piracy solutions for discreet vessel safety.

With two engineering hubs in the U.K. and Singapore, Satcom Global offers engineering services including 24/7/365 response engineering, installation and commissioning, turnkey solutions, annual surveys, and managed maintenance contracts. The company also provides specialist niche services, including training for vessel shot blasting and surface maintenance, as well as a marine spares division which stocks an extensive range of spare parts.
