RRSat Post Record First Quarter Revenues

[Satellite Today – 5-6-08] RRSat Global Communications Network Ltd. reported a 34 percent increase in revenues in the 2008 first quarter of 2008 as well as a 14 percent increase in gross profit, the company announced May 5.
    Revenues for the first quarter of 2008 totaled $17.8 million, compared to $13.3 million in the first quarter of 2007. Gross profit was $5.5 million, up from $4.8 million in the first quarter of 2007.
    “This quarter we continued to generate strong revenue growth with backlog
growing further to new record levels offering us visibility in 2008 and beyond,” David Rivel, CEO of RRSat, said in a statement. “Furthermore, we continued to generate healthy cash flow, which will support our expansion strategy. Looking ahead, 2008 looks to be a truly exciting year for the company in terms of growth, expansion and identifying new opportunities.”
