SpaceDev Reports Strong 2007

[Satellite Today – 4-1-08] SpaceDev Inc. increased revenue by $2 million in 2007 and cut its net loss by $700,000, the company announced March 28.
    SpaceDev reported net sales of $34.7 million for the year ended Dec. 31, an increase of $2.1 million, or 6 percent, from the $32.6 million in net sales reported for 2006. Net loss was reduced to $272,562, a 72 percent decrease from 2006’s $973,185.
    “SpaceDev continued to show operational and financial progress in 2007,” Mark Sirangelo, SpaceDev’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “We are remaining focused on building an integrated mid-market aerospace company. Despite unexpected conditions, such as the firestorms in San Diego last year that challenged us, we are progressing well as a company.”
