Temix Launches New Portable Terminal

[Satellite Today – 3-4-08] Temix has launched a new compact portable satellite terminal, the company announced March 4.
    The EasyFlysat–SP is a self-powered portable satellite terminal suited for applications where energy is not available. The terminal includes all the features of EasyFlysat family with the addition of a lithium polymer battery pack which allows for continuous use up to 30 hours. It also features foldable solar panels.
    “We have witnessed a huge demand for portable satellite terminals in the region,” Armando Caravella, general manager of Temix, said in a statement. “For us, the Middle East is a key market and the launch of our recent Web site in Arabic and French shows our commitment to the region.”
