OpenTV Replaces CEO

[8-30-07 – Satellite News Today] OpenTV has appointed Ben Bennett as its COO and acting CEO, the company announced Aug. 29.

The Kudelski Group-owned company, a key supplier of middleware and interactive TV solutions to direct-to-home operators worldwide, revealed that Alan Guggenheim had stepped down from his position of president and CEO of Open TV for personal reasons. Bennett previously served as senior vice president, customer operations.

OpenTV also appointed Mauro Saladini a director of OpenTV.
