Final Analysis Names Karl Olsoni Jr. As CFO

Final Analysis Inc., which is building the Faisat low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite system for global mobile data services, has named Karl Olsoni Jr. as its chief financial officer. He will be responsible for the company’s approach to capital markets for the system, including issuing bonds and an initial public offering.

Olsoni was vice president and treasurer of Southern Energy Inc., which he guided from the start-up phase to the point at which it had some $14 billion in assets and $3 billion in sales, when he left.

“Karl Olsoni is a seasoned financial executive with expertise in global finance,” said Nader Modanlo, chairman, president and CEO of Final Analysis. “Karl will be an instrumental player in helping Final Analysis achieve the next phase of our financial plan,” he added. The company is in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Lanham, Md.
