PANASONIC’S ORBCOMM COMMUNICATOR HAS GPS CAPABILITY

The Panasonic KX-G7001 subscriber communicator has GPS circuitry and antenna that is designed for the Orbcomm low-Earth orbit satellite system. The units, marketed in the U.S. by Panasonic Industrial Co., has data input and output devices. Another company, San Diego-based Torrey Science Corp., is manufacturing a communicator for Orbcomm.
