DataPath announced it has expanded operations in the Washington, D.C. area to complement its existing Aberdeen, Maryland, office. The company’s establishment of a sales and technical support facility allows it to strengthen relationships with customers and strategic partners that are based or have a significant presence in the capital region, the company stated.

To officially commemorate the expansion, DataPath held a grand opening ceremony on May 10 at its new office in Sterling, Virginia, located near Washington Dulles International Airport. DataPath’s leadership team and local representatives hosted partners and customers for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and product demonstrations.

The opening of the new Washington area office continues an expansion strategy that started in 2015 with the opening of a regional office in Aberdeen, Maryland, and progressed with new sales offices in New Delhi, Singapore and Dubai.

DataPath’s headquarters and primary manufacturing facility is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with international operations located in Stockholm, Sweden.
