[Satellite Today – 6-16-08] Newtec has made a new appointment to strengthen its team in Asia, the company said June 16. The company has a appointed Richard Walshe as vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific region. Walshe has more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast and satellite industry.
Prior to joining Newtec, Walshe worked with Quantum Pacific Pty, BarcoNet and Vocality Pty Ltd, and most recently Gencom Technology Sydney, where he held the position of sales and marketing manager for the past two years.
