Tmytek Debuts Antenna-in-Package for 5G Mobile and Satcom Applications

TMY Technology Inc. (Tmytek) recently debuted its antenna-in-package (AiP) solutions for 5G mobile and satcom applications. The solution is an 8×8 tile-based, dual-polarization phased array antenna. 

Tmytek said its AiP 5G mobile solution is ready for antenna design, verification, and manufacturing based on 5G mmWave O-RAN RU, n257, n258, and n261. The satcom solution fulfills the requirements of ground terminal electronically steered array applications, through a collaboration with DuPont. The Ku/Ka-band phased array antenna is L-band ready for both commercial and defense applications. 

“TMYTEK is the first and the only startup company who can facilitate mobile and satcom development via our AiP-M and AiP-S products with the best of total cost of ownership from our capability of Taiwan’s manufacturing supply-chain management,” said Su-Wei Chang, founder and president. 

The company plans to begin to ship products to clients in the third quarter of this year.
