Multi-orbit antenna manufacturer All.Space has hired a former SES leader as the company’s new chief development officer (CDO) to help the company scale as it prepares to release its products to market. All.Space announced the appointment of Charles Hannaford as CDO on April 5.

Hannaford was most recently chief of staff for SES Satellites in Luxembourg. He spent 13 years with the company and also served as SES’s executive vice president of Commercial. As a member of the executive leadership team, he was part of SES’s purchase of O3b in 2016.

All.Space, which recently rebranded from Isotropic Systems, has rapidly grown in recent years. Hannaford commented that about 55% of the company has been with All.Space under a year and 86% have been with the company less than three years. All.Space expects to hit 250 employees soon.

“The company is really at an exciting phase, which is that inflection point from startup to scale up,” Hannaford said. “A big part of my role is to help build the foundation of the company and to support its sustainable growth – that aligns with us having come out of the R&D phase and into the production phase.”
