SpeedCast to Provide Satcom for Offshore Construction Fleet

[Via Satellite 10-14-2014] EMAS AMC, the subsea construction services division of the EMAS Group, has selected SpeedCast International to provide satellite communications for a fleet of 12 vessels. Both EMAS and client vessels will use broadband connectivity for management applications, voice, data and crew communications.
SpeedCast’s solution uses a combination of Ku and C band to provide customized satcom offerings. The EMAS contract is for three years, with the option to extend for two more years. Additional vessels can also be added as required.
