Orbit Communication Systems recently received $36.7 million in orders for its satellite communication technology for defense use cases. The company, based in Israel, recently finalized an agreement with the Israeli Ministry of Defense to supply advanced communication systems valued at approximately $16.6 million.

The U.S. Air Force also awarded Orbit a $16.5 contract for the upgrade, service, and maintenance of Orbit’s Airborne Digital Audio System (ADAS) communications management systems in KC-135 aircraft. This contract spans an additional 60 months.

In addition, Orbit received a $3.6 million order from a European integrator for satellite communication systems for naval military platforms. The OceanTRx4 systems included in the order will provide continuous broadband satellite connectivity to a prominent European fleet starting in 2026.

“Securing these three contracts reaffirms the acknowledgment of our technology’s reliability and superior performance. The increasing demand for advanced communication solutions across diverse applications emphasizes the significance of our work, inspiring us to intensify our efforts in the coming year.”
