Mynaric secured a new contract from an existing customer worth $6 million for its Condor Mk3 optical terminals. The deal announced Wednesday is with an undisclosed, U.S.-based customer. Mynaric expects payment milestones in the fourth quarter of this year and 2024 and product deliveries in the second half of 2024.

The Condor Mk3 is Mynaric’s second-generation laser communications terminal, designed to simultaneously transmit and receive data at multiple gigabits per second. Publicly announced customers include Northrop Grumman, which pursed a set, Warpspace, and Loft Orbital’s federal subsidiary

“We are delighted to announce that we have successfully secured another contract for our flagship product, CONDOR Mk3. Wins such as this in an expanding market for laser communication products highlight our industry-leading position,” said Mustafa Veziroglu, CEO of Mynaric. “Our robust performance in comprehensive optical verification and interoperability evaluations not only attest to our past and present achievements but also signals promising prospects for the future.”
