By Jeffrey Hill | December 15, 2010

Thrane & Thrane is launching its Aviator 200 airborne solution to markets in the Middle East, the manufacturer announced Dec. 6.
The terminal, which uses Inmarsat‘s SwiftBroadband 200 service, will target the region’s avionics market by featuring its reduced overall system size and cost, Thrane said.
“Following the successful launch and Inmarsat Type Approval of the Aviator 200 solution, small business aircraft will now be able to stay connected via an extensive range of services including voice, internet and email provided within in an incredibly compact and lightweight package. We are available at the Thrane & Thrane stand throughout [the region] to handle operation, installation and service enquiries,” Thrane & Thrane EMEA Aeronautical Sales Director Shaun Flanagan said in a statement.
