KNS Unveils New Maritime Antennas in Ku, Ka and X-Band

[Via Satellite 05-13-2016] Marine communications specialist KNS has released six new antennas for customers in new and existing markets ranging from ranging from Comms-On-The-Move (COTM), military, oil and gas, Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs), leisure, commercial shipping and commercial fishing.

For the COTM market, KNS has launched M4MK1-Ku and M9MK1-KU; from its Z-SuperTrack Series, the Z7MK3-KU and Z10 MK3-Ka-(DBS); and for the X-Series, optimized for operations in rough seas and for the military, the X15MK3-X. The final new product in the series is the VSAT Crossover System–N. This product enables a dual VSAT configuration that is connected to a router and satellite modem, enabling easier switching from one antenna to another with low maintenance, according to the company.

“We are very much on track with our new product development this year. We have focused on the military environment, knowing that these customers operate in the harshest of conditions,” said KNS Director Noah Chung.
