NSSLGlobal Opens Office in South Africa

[Via Satellite 06-16-2016] NSSLGlobal is opening a new office in Cape Town, South Africa to focus on sales and support for partners, resellers and end users in the region. The new office is part of the company’s ongoing global expansion, which follows recent openings in Poland and Singapore.

Citing large potential for the satcoms market, particularly outside of large cities, NSSLGlobal said in a statement that the current communications infrastructure makes it hard for businesses and communities to communicate effectively, consequently hindering growth potential in markets such as government, mining, energy, infrastructure, media and finance. The company said that, as political and economic stability begin to grow across the continent, having a location in Africa positions NSSLGlobal to assist strategic partners.

Heading up the new office is NSSLGlobal’s Head of Sales and Business Development for Africa, Steve Tunks. He has been with the company for more than 10 years, and has been helping develop business in the region for the last two years.
