[Satellite TODAY 04-08-13] International Datacasting (IDC) has appointed Doug Lowther as its new CEO. Lowther is expected to start his new role in late May. Previously, he had been Executive Vice President of Irdeto, and based in Beijing. Prior to joining Irdeto, Lowther was an independent consultant and strategy advisor. His previous positions include several executive roles with Nortel Networks.
