[Satellite Today 08-25-08] ND SatCom, an SES Astra company, has unveiled its new VSAT application, SkyRay Light IPS high definition for mobile video broadcasting, the company announced Aug. 25.
The all-IP package offers live video streaming based on the latest generation of H.264 AVC codecs.
The package contains three major components: ND SatCom’s SkyRay Light 1200 VSAT antenna, a SkyWan VSAT modem with a full set of IP functionalities and an H.264/MPEG-4 AVC HD/SD and MPEG-2 encoder.
