Telespazio has won two new contracts worth 144 million euros ($151.3 million) to provide services to the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) and the European Commission. The contracts include Lot 5: Operations and Service Provision and Management Support, awarded to a consortium led by Telespazio France and Lot 4: Project Management & Quality Support awarded to a consortium led by Telespazio Belgium. Telespazio announced the contract wins, Dec. 11.
The activities covered by the contracts involve providing support to key European Union Space Programme in field of Navigation, Earth Observation (EO), and future space-based services. These contracts, which run for over four years, will engage around 100 professionals in activities across EUSPA sites, European Commission locations, and Telespazio’s own facilities.
“These contracts testify to the trust placed in us by EUSPA and the European Commission. We are ready to continue providing high-quality support to the European Union Space Programme in field of Navigation, EO, and future space- based services,” Jean-Marc Gardin, deputy CEO of Telespazio and CEO, said in a statement.
