Space Radar Passes Integrated Baseline Review

      The Space Radar completed an integrated baseline review with the Air Force, Lockheed Martin Corp. [LMT] announced.

      That review of the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance asset was completed on schedule, leading toward the future system requirements review later this year.

      Representatives from the Air Force, intelligence community and other Department of Defense agencies participated in the three-day review at the Lockheed Martin Denver, Colo. facilities in mid-April, according to the company

      The Space Radar team includes Northrop Grumman Corp. [NOC] unit Electronic Systems in Baltimore.

      Space Radar satellites will provide responsive imagery world-wide, able to monitor patterns of adversary activity and to cue sensors and weapon systems in near real time. There also will be high resolution terrain information for precision targeting, humanitarian relief, and preparation of geospatial products for a broad range of intelligence operations.
