Iridium Satellite has expanded its value-added partner program, adding three manufacturers and a reseller, Iridium announced Oct. 25. The new value-added manufacturers are Fastwave Communications of Perth, Australia; Uplogix of Austin, Texas; and Belgium’s Dilupe. Beam Communications Pty Ltd. of Victoria, Australia has been named a value-added reseller after being a value-added manufacturer for several years, Iridium said.

“An important key to our success over the last three years has been our rapidly growing family of value-added manufacturers, resellers and developers, who are spearheading our penetration of emerging new market sectors for mobile satellite communications,” Greg Ewert, executive vice president of Iridium, said in a statement. “These new value-added partners will be instrumental in expanding our data service offerings for the machine-to-machine marketplace.”
