Echostar Communications Corp. launched Oct. 19 its Dish Network High-Speed Internet powered by Wildblue, a satellite-delivered broadband Internet service offering bundled TV service.

The two-way satellite service provides high-speed data connection with available packages up to 30 times faster than dial-up, Echostar said in a statement.

Authorized Dish Network retailers are offering packages, which include multiple e-mail addresses, Web-hosting space and technical support, starting at $49.95 per month. A separate satellite dish is required to receive the high-speed Internet service.
