The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued new grants of authority for three XM radios with FM transmitters, XM Satellite Radio announced Aug. 25. The certification means that three of XM’s primary plug-and-play radios for retail sale — Audiovox Xpress, Delphi RoadyXT and XM Sportscaster –are in compliance with FCC. XM is notifying its manufacturers to resume production of these devices.
