Unipart Group, a supplier of aftermarket automobile parts in the United Kingdom, invested 2.5 million British pounds (about $4.6 million) in a Web-based satellite vehicle tracking system from Masternaut. The tracking system uses GPS technology to monitor the location of the specified vehicles, displaying the data using Microsoft Mappoint street mapping software. Managers can access the information from any Web-enabled computer.
