DirecTV announced June 14 its national operations center would move to Denver in early 2007 to form the hub of all sales and service support for DirecTV. The facility will oversee all customer care operations nationwide including call center management, field services, supply chain management and independent retail services support.

The expanded facility also will include a customer sales call center, a commercial support call center and a technical support customer call center that will provide support for new advanced products and services such as high-definition services and personal video recorders.

DirecTV also owns and operates call centers in Boise, Idaho; Huntsville, Ala.; and Tulsa, Okla., and will open a technical call center in Missoula, Mont., this summer.
