Ariane Launch Set For Saturday

Following an equipment alert on the launch vehicle, Arianespace decided to conduct complementary checks. Upon the successful completion of these checks, Arianespace has decided to restart the final countdown for its mission with the Satmex 6 and Thaicom 5 satellites. Liftoff of the Ariane 5 ECA launcher is now set for Saturday, May 27 at the opening of the launch window, which starts at 21h09 GMT and ends at 21h54 GMT.
