Voyager Space rebranded as Voyager Technologies, seeking to emphasize its role in national security and space innovation, the company announced Jan. 16.

The company restructured its operations into three segments: Defense & National Security, Space Solutions, and Starlab Space Stations. Defense & National Security is focused on defense systems, spectrum dominance, communications systems, guidance and navigation systems, and national security space. Space Solutions is focused on space and science systems, including the Bishop Airlock and exploration systems.

Starlab Space Stations is focused on the company’s commercial space station: a free-flying space station to support NASA, global space agencies, and researchers. Voyager has a joint venture with Airbus Defense and Space called Starlab Space.

The rebranding aims to highlight Voyager’s expanded capabilities across technology markets and its work to deliver both mission-enabling products and end-to-end mission solutions.

Voyager president, Matthew Kuta, commented: “While defense and national security have always been a cornerstone of our business, we are now publicly elevating this focus as we continue to provide trusted, transformative solutions to our partners and customers across the U.S. government and global industries.
