Vice Admiral Frank Whitworth, director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will keynote the opening of the GovMilSpace program at SATELLITE 2025.

Whitworth has served as director of the NGA since June of 2022. He is responsible for leading and directing NGA under the authorities of the Secretary of Defense and Director of National Intelligence.

The NGA delivers geospatial intelligence to policymakers, military service members, intelligence professionals and first responders. The agency is a principal member of the U.S. intelligence community.

The NGA works commercial companies to acquire analytics for its mission. Earlier this week the agency selected 13 companies to the Luno B contract, which is worth up to $200 million over five years.

Whitworth will provide the opening breakfast keynote for GovMilSpace on Monday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m.

New at SATELLITE 2025, GovMilSpace brings together government and military agencies, the intelligence community, and satellite and space industry partners to explore how private industry can enhance critical missions for the U.S. and its global allies. The GovMilSpace program is produced in partnership with Defense Daily and the Satellite Industry Association (SIA).
