Premiere has chosen NDS middleware to help power the German pay-TV operator’s new interactive platform in Germany and Austria.

Premiere will deploy NDS Mediahighway middleware, which will enable Premiere to boost its interactive and on-demand offerings to customers. Premiere will launch interactive infrastructure, offering an IP return channel for instant interactivity via the remote control.

The agreement is the first large-scale customer win in Germany for NDS.
