World Communication Center (WCC), a provider of global satellite voice and data communications, announced March 6 the availability of an emergency satellite communications system.

The Hot Shot Kit enables emergency management teams to communicate via the Iridium satellite system. The portable kit, contained in a sealed, rugged safety waterproof case, provides telephone, e-mail and Internet accessibility for up to 32 emergency personnel to communicate among each other and a base site.
