SES Astra said UPC agreed to lease a fourth transponder on the SES satellite fleet located at 19.2 degrees East. The latest leased transponder is on the Astra 1E satellite. The activation of a fourth SES transponder will allow UPC to further enhance its program offering for its current direct-to-home satellite television customers in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
