Sea Launch said it has rescheduled the launch of the XM-3 satellite for XM Satellite Radio on a Zenit-3SL rocket for Feb. 28 after this edition of Satellite Today went to press. The launch window was opening at 7:51 p.m. PST and remained open for one hour. The launch was delayed four times for water conditions at the equatorial launch site and for an “out-of-specification condition” discovered prior to the last launch attempt last week.
