Via Satellite magazine, sister publication to Satellite News, named iDirect Technologies President and CEO John Kealey as the 2004 satellite executive of the year.

“Kealey materializes a business practice that negates competition on the front end,” said Via Satellite Editor and SATELLITE 2005 Chairman Nick Mitsis. “He believes the satellite industry should work together in educating a market about specifically satellite products and services can offer, rather than cutting off the competition at the pass for short-term success and sacrificing long-term business development.”

“This is really an honor for the entire iDirect team,” Kealey said.

Via Satellite presents this award to the satellite executive who made a lasting business impact on the global satellite industry during the previous calendar year. Kealey will be honored during the SATELLITE 2005 conference and exhibition at a luncheon on March 24 at the Washington Convention Center.
