GlobeCast said it signed a deal with BettingCorp for the satellite delivery of its PlayMonteCarlo interactive gaming channel on the BSkyB platform. The channel will be broadcast over the Eurobird satellite at 28.5 degrees East from GlobeCast’s Brookman’s Park teleport. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

PlayMonteCarlo is a fixed-odds gaming portal that allows viewer to wager real or play money on games such as roulette, slots, keno and dice.

“GlobeCast’s reliable and scalable bandwidth services were the obvious choice for BettingCorp,” BettingCorp Vice President of Operations Sean Eyen said. “We are excited to utilize their global footprint in order to support an expansion of our PlayMonteCarlo gaming service.”
