Boeing said that a planned Dec. 11 demonstration launch of its Delta 4 Heavy launch vehicle was scrubbed following an outage of the rocket’s environmental control system. Engineers have not yet determined the root cause of the system outage. The company has postponed the launch to determine what, if any, corrective actions are needed to address the outage and did not give a date as to when the launch would be rescheduled.
