Multiband today said it has been selected by Marine Corps Community Services at the Marine Corps base at Camp Pendleton, CA, to install DirecTV services. DirecTV services will be available in all 177 barracks on the base, making the satellite TV available to between 44 and 500 personnel per barrack.

“With approximately 27,000 units eligible for installation, this agreement has the potential to represent a significant revenue opportunity for Multiband,” company CEO James Mandel said. The financial terms of the installation were not disclosed.
