The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has dismissed a protest from New SI LLC filed after National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) awarded the NextView Second Vendor contract to Orbimage Inc. [ORBM].

In a prepared statement, Orbimage CEO Matthew O’Connell said, “We were always confident that Orbimage would retain the award, but the formal dismissal is still good news and eliminates any unwanted distractions so we can continue to focus on giving NGA great value under our NextView contract.”
