The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said the launch of the Swift satellite, which will be looking for and gathering data on bursts of gamma rays, has been delayed, Satellite Today has learned. The launch, which was set for today, has been rescheduled for tomorrow from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center. The delay reportedly was caused by a problem with one of the satellite’s electronic safety systems.
